Muting a unit vs quiet hours vs closed stores

Three different ways alerts go quiet, for three different reasons. Knowing which is in play saves a lot of confusion.

If alerts aren't arriving and the configuration looks right, one of these three is usually why.

Applies toWhyEnds
Maintenance muteOne unitKnown work will make it read hotAt the time set, capped at 7 days
Quiet hoursOne personThey don't want waking for non-urgent thingsDaily, at the hour they chose
Outside store hoursOne storeThe building is empty, so there's nobody to protectWhen the store opens — held alerts are then delivered
All three keep recording. None of them affects the compliance record, and none of them stops the device warning the people actually in the room — its own display never goes quiet.
