Your readings and configuration are yours. Export them whenever you like, in a format nothing about HeatAlert is needed to read.
Closing an account removes your data, and heat history cannot be reconstructed once it's gone. If there is any chance you'll need to demonstrate past conditions to a regulator, export first. This is one of very few genuinely irreversible actions in the product.
